Friendship International is currently under construction

Have you ever come across signs like this in your town or city? " Sorry for the inconvenience, we are under construction or remodeling for you, our valued customer"? Well, this is what it is like at Friendship International. We have had several delays, setbacks and distractions throughout the time of our "revamping" the F.I. website. Please be patient, we hope to have the new "look" completed by this Fall. Keep checking back for the "new and improved" version of Friendshipintl.org.

But in the meantime, here are a few highlights of what is going on F.I.

2010 is proving to be a very special year of celebration for Friendship International. It is our 20th anniversary of the ministry. We began in 1990, immediately following the collapse of the Soviet Union. As a part of this year of celebration we have prepared the following;

• A new festive CD by A New Song International, entitled, "Grateful Hearts". This is a wonderful recording with songs focused on God's goodness, grace and mercy. If you do not have a copy, please contact our office and we would be happy to send it to you right away.
• We began the year with a tour with A New Song - Chile in the southeastern States. It was a momentous tour, but it ended with an event no one would or could have expected, the devastating earthquake in Chile, which centered only one hour from our mission base. Since that time we have refocused our ministry to include reaching out to people with great physical and economic, as well as spiritual needs.
• In April and May, the second celebration took place. We organized a tour across Europe with A New Song International, beginning in Romania and concluding in Scotland. It was a wonderful time of celebration with friends in Hungary, Romania, Germany, England and Scotland ,who have supported and prayed for our ministry over the past years.

Presently, we our in full swing with youth and kids camps in Hungary and Romania. Pray that many kids will be led to an understanding of God's grace and mercy and that many will receive Jesus as their Savior.;

We are looking forward to the upcoming Fall tour with A New Song Europe, in September and October, as we conclude our year of celebration in the eastern States.;

At the beginning of each of our tours this year we begin with this scripture in acknowledgement of God's place in our ministry, ”For great is the Lord and most worthy of our praise”. 1 Chron. 16. May this always be the attitude of our hearts.;
